DRM Subtitles

Hey guys,

I assume this feature probably doesn't exist yet so I decided to post it here rather than posting it as a bug.

The issue/missing feature I am having is to do with support for embedded subtitles in DRM protected content. I have a large movie library (all iTunes purchased with DRM protection) which I use Plex together with PlexConncet to serve to my Apple TV's (3rd gen).

But I've noticed that subtitles are not picked up correctly by Plex. Plex either says there are no subtitles or it says there is one language, "English (NONE)". However if I choose English (NONE) then the movie fails to play. If I start playing the movie without any subtitles and then hold in the OK button on the Apple TV remote, then I can see the correct subtitles and enable them.

Is there a way to get the Plex scanner to correct identify embedded subtitles in iTunes DRM protected media?

If not, then can we remove the incorrect "English (NONE)" option so that it is not presented to the user in PlexConnect? This would in turn just mean the user would just have to hold in the OK button like they would on a normal iTunes movie.

Best Regards

Fredrik
