Can I share Netflix account with my friend for some days?

Hi, this question is about Netflix.
I have subscribed to Netflix and I will be out of town for 3 weeks. My friend asked if he can share my connection with him. I said yes.
Then, I heard that sharing the Netflix accounts can be a crime. I 'm confused. It is only for 3 weeks, and I'm not planning to make it a practice.
