Just a request for a composer field. I had posted this somewhere else, and was recommended to try here.
I understand that classical music metadata is a challenge, but the addition of a composer field would be a simple way to satisfy the majority of classical music fans. ITunes has this feature and I would love to escape ITunes. Honestly don't care if you cannot pull down album covers, pictures of composers, the name of the bass trombone player, etc. Happy to assign a picture manually. The one thing I cannot do manually is the composer tag.
I have noticed other requests for conductor, ensemble, soloist, etc. and those would be nice. However, if I had to pick just one I think you would get the most mileage out of a composer tag.
I'll buy a membership if you do it. :)
