I still can't see my genre tags from my collection of WMA files. I have a hunch... Is the problem that WMA files only put genre tags on tracks? There is no file for the album. Does Plex only want some album level tag? I notice there is no genre filter on the track view. Does this mean I need to manually assign a genre to all 5500 of my albums despite them all being tagged at the track level? I did just rebuild my library with 'use embedded tracks' and only my 2 MP3 files are showing up with genres. Though I don't think those have any album level tag either. Is the problem the way Plex works with WMA files? Is this a bug? Is it worth rebuilding my library again as a 'basic' instead of premium library?
