cache music in iOS/Andriod mobile clients

The Plex iOS app is the greatest iOS/Android app out there, with its complete movie, music, photo, and online channel support, it beats by miles all the other apps for streaming your own content.
One thing though all the subsonic apps are better at than Plex. Caching song streams.
Imagine these scenarios:
• You're sitting in a train, which goes in and out of 3g zones during the journey. Everytime the train enters a tunnel, or passes somewhere with no 3g, your songs pause, and stop.
• You are walking around in the city, you enter a building, take a subway, or go thru a tiny alley where there's no 3g reaching. Your song pauses, and stops.
• You are in your library/uni/workplace with local wi-fi access, listening to an album or playlist. You leave the library and your device has to now to use the 3g bandwidth (which is not unlimited in all countries by the way), since Plex doesn't buffer.
• You are sitting in an airport with free wifi (e.g. London City Airport), waiting for your flight. You board your plane and take off, you lose connection to the music you were just listening to. Well not, if you had a cache!

Search the iTunes store for "subsonic" and you'll find a few apps that can do just this. I think it would give the Plex mobile apps a huge boost. Who else agrees? Developers? Elan?
